School Tour 2021.

Teddy Bear's picnic. 

On Friday the 25th of June we had our very first school tour. Due to restrictions we had our school tour on school grounds and we had so much fun. We had a Teddy Bear's picnic like no other. We visited the local playground and we brought our Teddy's to our cool playground. Our Teddy's really enjoyed their visit to our school playground and we had a great time in the local playground. We played games with our Teddy's and our friends. After all of our games and activities we had a pizza and chip party. We really had the best day!

 Sport's Day 2021.

Last Friday (June 18th) we had our sports day in Junior Infants B. We were so excited for our very first sports day of Primary school and the day did not disappoint!

 We had a jam packed fun filled sports day. 

There was 8 stations between the pitches across from our school, our school hall and our school yard. 

Each station had a different sports challenge, they ranged from target practise to relay races, from 100m sprints to the egg and spoon race. 

We had so much fun at each station but our class favourite was the indoor 'obstacle' course.  We loved trying out each station and we had so much fun!

The sun was shining which made the sports day so much better. Take a look at our pictures to see how much fun we had. 

The best day EVER!

 The ice-cream man visited our school and we named this day  'the BEST DAY EVER'. Thank you very much to the student council and the teachers in our school for organising this event for all of our school. We had so much!

Ready, set, go........ MATHS!

We love ready, set, go....Maths in junior infants. We love to be active in our learning especially during Maths. In our ready, set, go maths programme we are learning the fundamental maths concepts through hands on activities and we are having so much fun in the process. 

Popsicle Art.

We were learning all about primary colours and we painted our 'popsicles' using the three primary colours. RED, YELLOW and BLUE. We did such a great job don't you think?

 Active Schools Week 2021.

This was our first Active Schools week and we had a blast! We really enjoyed completing all the challenges set by the Active Schools team. One of our favourites was the daily kilometre. Take a look to see how much fun we had!

Today was the day that we got to see and play in our BRAND NEW PLAYGROUND. 

As you can see by the look on our faces we were SO EXCITED.

We had so much fun trying out all of the new equipment in our new playgroud and we are so happy we have this in our school.

 We had so much fun on our first day playing in our new playground!

Welcome to Junior Infants B, you are so very welcome to our class blog. This blog will be made up of  lots and lots of pictures of our class, snapshots of how much fun we are having and we will be telling you all about what we are learning about and getting up to in our class.

We have been extremely busy since we came back in September and we have learned so much. Here is our favourite activity so far. We were learning the nursery rhyme  'Incy Wincy Spider', which we loved. We learned the rhyme and the actions, we had great fun learning it!

Then we decided to create a piece of Art based on the nursery rhyme, here is us making our own ' Incy Wincy Spiders'.
